How to install the flush handle on a Birmingham Close Coupled Toilet Suite

A beautiful classic feature of our Birmingham Closed Coupled Toilet Suite is the ceramic flush handle.

This is a touch of luxury together with the lift handle detail on the toilet seat, for any traditional heritage style bathroom.

In this video we explain how this Birmingham flush handle installs into the Birmingham cistern.

• To start put the handle through the hole in the side, simply put the cover plate on the inside of the cistern.
• Next, screw the blue back nut so it's tight.
• The next step is to get the mechanism and make sure those two slits line up with the slits on the mechanism handle coming through the hole

• Then screw this back nut on tighten the back nut up and then tighten the second back nut and that holds it, so the lever springs back up.
  
  Please note  it is normal for the lever to be a little bit loose but once that's completely tightened into place and the waterpressure gets on it thatwill tighten up a little bit more, it is normal for a bit of a small amount of slack.
  

Tip:

• Hold down the lever and let go for a full flush or push the lever up and let go is a half flush.
