A high-level toilet is a traditional style of toilet which due to older plumbing systems relied on gravity, so the tank is installed high on the wall approximately 2 metres high. The flush is assisted by gravity as the water flows down the long flush pipe connecting the toilet pan.
Often this traditional style of toilet has period features, ornate decorative brackets, wooden seats, and metal flush pipes and is well suited on the Australian market for renovations of heritage, federation and traditional style homes.
