Haberfield, NSW – Carrera By Design

BACKGROUND
The client’s brief was to create a modern yet sophisticated Hamptons/French style kitchen, while paying homage to the era of our federation home. The colour palette was selected to reflect a sense of calm and serenity within the space.

Functionality was also a big consideration, as they wanted to make their kitchen space work well with their dining room. This was achieved by eliminating the wall that divided these two rooms, and making it an open plan kitchen/dining space.

Note from Ronnie:
While Functionality was high on the list, We wanted to make sure we can still create a design and look that would suit the home. We wanted to ensure there was Plenty of storage and work space was required and we got that..

Open and flowing space was a requirement also and we got that too by eliminating the wall that divided these two rooms, and making it an open plan kitchen/dining space.
