BACKGROUND
Created by interior designer Christina Reed - this project was borne from the client's love of her style icon - Athena Calderone.

"Our brief was to transform this 1950's bungalow in true Eye Swoon fashion to create a classic contemporary home, suitable for this young growing family" Christina Reed.

Located in Killara, in the leafy northern suburbs of Sydney - the home was completely gutted and the floor plan re-worked to create a light filled open plan living space - and add a formal entry, powder room and luxurious master suite.

Original features were retained wherever possible - including the painstakingly restored steel framed windows.

Microcement walls to the ensuite create the perfect backdrop for the Cambridge TitanCast freestanding tub in satin silk white.

The powder room features the Claremont pedestal basin - a perfect foil to the handmade Moroccan tiles, swan taps and House of Hackney wallpaper.

While the Fireclay Farmhouse Butler Sink completes the laundry against the muted clay pink hues of the natural stone.
